Disciples Men's Fellowship
Tennessee Disciples Men’s Organization
The goal of the Tennessee Disciples Men’s organization is to encourage greater participation in the activities of the local, state, and national Disciples church. This participation can take many avenues. We can enjoy worship and spiritual growth of our faith by participating actively in our own church and the annual Men’s Retreat. Being a partner in the creative ministries is essential to spiritual growth. There are so many opportunities in our own church, supporting the work of the church across Tennessee, and those national ministries that come to us such as the Mission work in the Gulf and Florida regions most affected by the storms of the last few years. A critical element of the Men’s ministries is to work to build a stronger financial base for church operation locally and at the state level. The continued decline in giving is causing a reduction in opportunities of service. Serious prayer and thoughtful work to reverse these conditions continues to be a focal point for our work.
